The Kid’s Quarry at the September show will have fossil shark teeth collected on the gulf beach of Manasota Key, Florida. Dating from the Miocene period, these small teeth are constantly eroded from the seabed and tumbled in the sand and surf until collected by beachcombers. They are a favorite with small visitors to the show.
