Iron and it’s significance in our world
Iron will! Iron Man!
Iron evokes thoughts of strength. It’s iron’s strength that is the foundation of modern society. Sort of.
Pure iron is too soft to serve our purposes. however, adding a little carbon and you get steel which is hard enough and strong enough to make modern society possible.
We may have left the Stone Age and the Bronze Age behind, but we are still in the Iron Age even though we refer to modern times as the Industrial Age,
the Atomic Age ,the space Age or the Information Age.
