Soapstone Carving April 13 2019 AND April 20th

April 20th at Armour Heights Community Centre.

Location: Armour Heights Community Centre, Wilson Ave and Avenue Rd , South west corner , 9 am – 4 pm. , rooms 1& 2
Roughed -out pieces of a variety of soapstone animals will be provided as well as some basic carving tools. Everyone should be able to take their piece
through all stages ,and go home with a polished and waxed completed masterpiece. Sandy has a new design ,a manatee which you might like to try.
Cost : $30 OR if you participate in BOTH workshops ,the cost is $50 in total
What ever tools you have bring them along as well as an apron or old towel as well as lunch.
All participants need to be a member of Gem and mineral Club of Scarborough in good standing.
